How to cast a Fantasy Dragon's Head
Would you like to make this beautiful Fantasy Dragon Pendant in polymer clay? Follow the photo tutorial and find out how easy it can be.
One - Casting a dragon's head
After conditioning your clay, place a small amount into the head of the dragon and push down with your clay tool as shown in the photos.
Two - Adding the clay
Add pieces of clay into the horns.
Three - adding clay to the horns
Press the clay into the middle horn area with the rounded tool.
Four - adding more clay to the head
Place another ball of conditioned clay into the dragon's head and push in with your tool.
Five - Using the clay tool.
Gently press the clay in with a round headed tool and add more clay anywhere you think it might be needed.
Six - pressing it flat
Add more clay until the entire head is full as show in the photo.
Seven - Trimming
Using a craft knife trim off excess polymer clay as shown in the photo.

Nine - The cast dragon head
Your dragon will easily come out of the mold if you follow the tip on the previous page.
Ten - making any changes that need to be done
With your polymer clay sculpting tool press indents in the nostrils of your dragon on each side of the head.
Eleven - Adding the horn.
Before you place the dragon in the oven to be cured you can add any finishing touches. You could add an extra horn as shown in the photo.
