This photo tutorial show you how to cast a baby's face from a silicone mold using polymer clay

After you have conditioned your clay place a small piece in the nose.

Press the clay into the nose with a rounded tool.

Knead some clay and flatten as shown in the photo .

Press this into the face while pressing with the rounded tool

Push down with the rounded tool the clay that has come up over the side as shown in the photo.

Add a final ball of clay and press down with the tool until it is completely flat as shown in the photo. If the baby face is hard to get out of the mold, pop it in the freezer for 15 minutes and it will easily pop out of the mold while keeping its shape.

After you have taken your baby face out of the mold you are now ready to bake or cure it in the oven. When baked the baby face is now ready to paint.
